Sirius really dropped the ball in letting Howard dictate his working terms. CBS laid it on the table what they wanted from him and that was 5 day work weeks. CBS had their issues and I think of not for the constant muzzling of Howard he would still be there. I will be canceling my car subscription the end of July because I am not going to continue to support a man with more money than god and a company that allows him to dictate. almost 18 dollars gets credited from me on a month to month basis. Despite the temptations from websites who record the show and offer it for free, I have remained loyal to both Howard and Sirius. Personally I have a car subscription and a online subscription and the only reason is for Howard. I agree that none of us can possibly understand all the behind the scene headaches this round of negociations put you through.Р вЂќР’В«ut then again, nobody cares what goes on with us the Р Р†Р вЂљРЎС™listenersР Р†Р вЂљРЎСљ either. DonР Р†Р вЂљРІвЂћСћt get me wrong, youР Р†Р вЂљРІвЂћСћve have made 40 mile one way morning commute a lot easier. I agree with other comments that youР Р†Р вЂљРІвЂћСћre turning into Imus, Rick Dees and others. Repeating the Р Р†Р вЂљРЎС™history of SternР Р†Р вЂљРЎСљ to loyal listeners is old. Listening to your old stuff is at times funny however most is not that great. Oringially working 5 days a week., then 4 days., now itР Р†Р вЂљРІвЂћСћs 3 days Slowly, youР Р†Р вЂљРІвЂћСћve begun to lose the very people that enjoyed your program. You went to Sirius Radio people followed (me included). You wanted to be the King of all media and gained followers God bless him for it and Good luck! But I canР Р†Р вЂљРІвЂћСћt stand the long goodbye. You got to respect his choice and in his way, Howard has told the fans thatР Р†Р вЂљРІвЂћСћs what he wants to do. The fire and drive just leave and eventually people just want chill on a beach.

But maybe itР Р†Р вЂљРІвЂћСћs the natural course of life. We (the fans) know something did change during their time at Sirius. Maybe someone will talk about the shift that happened. I hope someday we will find out what really happened to the show.

But obviously thatР Р†Р вЂљРІвЂћСћs way too much to ask someone and I was naive to think Howard would rise to that level of person. He (Howard) would manage and guide the format and kind of mentor a new crop of DJs/entertainers. I thought maybe Howard and his crew would try to nourish it and make something (anything) grow while Stern slowly sailed off to the sunset.
